Who we are
In all things, we want to make much of Christ. We desire to worship Him with full devotion. We want to study His word to know Him more and be bold to proclaim His glory to all generations.
How we got started
First Baptist Church Schertz traces its history back to prayer meetings 1951. Believers prayed for God to establish His church to reach the families of Randolph Air Force Base. Over the years, God grew the church enabling many families to be discipled. God even allowed FBCS to plant several other churches in the area.
Where we're headed
We are excited about our future! We long to be a multi-generational church fulfilling the Great Commission to make disciples. We want to train children to grow in their faith so that God will use them as the next generation of church leaders.
