I am so glad you stopped by the website!  We would love to have you visit us at First Baptist Church of Schertz.  Our worship time is focused on worshipping and praising the one true God and celebrating the grace and redemption that comes from the Savior, Christ Jesus.  We simply seek to worship God in spirit and truth...with joy and thanksgiving.  Casual or dressed-up, just come to worship...

Also, we would like to have you be a part of our music ministry.  If you sing, play an instrument, and simply have a desire to help in the worship ministry of our church, please call me at the church or send me an e-mail...I would be delighted to visit with you.

There is a place for you to connect here at First Baptist Schertz!

Hi!

My name is Rachael Ripley and I am the Preschool director at First Baptist Schertz. I originally joined the FBS Preschool staff in the fall of 2012 as a 4 year old teacher. Working with children has been always been passion of mine.

I am also a former elementary school teacher with NEISD in San Antonio. My husband, Ben, is a firefighter with the City of San Antonio and we have three children ages 9, 8, and 5. We are active members at Everyday Christian Fellowship in Cibolo, but we consider First Baptist Schertz our second church home.

If you are looking for a Preschool program for your child, you will not find a program with more dedicated, Christian teachers who love working with children, than our program at First Baptist Schertz. I look forward to hearing from you!

Proverbs 22:6   "Start childen up on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." (NIV)

I am a wife and a homeschool Mom to my greatest blessings, my son Aaron who is 13, and my daughter Naomi who is 5.  Even though I only have two children, I always wanted a big family.  GOD had other plans for me.  HE may not have given me a house full of children, but HE put me in a place where I would be surrounded by babies and children by ministering in the church nursery.

Before coming to Schertz First Baptist Church, I was blessed to be a part of the nursery staff at a neighboring church working with an amazing group of young women.  There, I not only provided a safe and secure place for the little ones but, more importantly, I had the opportunity to share the love of JESUS with them and hopefully plant in their hearts a seed that would grow to lead them to a saving knowledge of JESUS CHRIST.

Now that I am here, my goal is to do the same.  I will partnering with the church families to plant those seeds in order to help bring up GODLY children that grow into GODLY young men and women that will do mighty works for THE KINGDOM in this church and throughout the city!

Thank you for welcoming me and my family so warmly!  You have truly helped make the transition from one church family to another as easy as possible.  I am so excited to be part of your church family and participate in the growth of this church.  Thank you also for allowing me to continue to do what I love most by sharing your precious little ones with me.
